Spoken word stories of famous sports figures told by Red Barber and Carol Heiss. Each side starts with a spoken track by Barber and then he and Heiss alternate tracks. Red Barber was a longtime baseball broadcaster for the Cincinnati Reds, Brooklyn Dodgers and New York Yankees. Carol Heiss was a champion figure skater and won a Gold Medal at the 1960 Winter Olympics in Squaw Valley.Liner notes state: "Guideposts from the World Of Sports is available only to radio stations for public service broadcasting.
